1 Who we are
Rocket Listing is a Chrome extension (Manifest V3) that helps sellers automate product listing workflows on marketplaces such as Meesho, Flipkart and Amazon โ by recording DOM-based actions once and replaying them later to fill forms and complete repetitive seller tasks.
2 Data we access and why
To do its job, the extension requests the following browser permissions. Here is exactly what each one is used for:
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
| activeTab / tabs | Know which tab you're working in so recording and replay target the right page. |
| scripting | Inject the recorder/replayer into the page you're actively using. |
| storage / unlimitedStorage | Save your recordings, listing templates and preferences locally in your browser (IndexedDB / chrome.storage). |
| webNavigation | Detect page navigations so a recorded workflow keeps working across multi-page or SPA flows. |
| downloads | Let you export a recording or listing data to a file on your device, on your request. |
| sidePanel | Show the extension's control panel alongside the page you're working on. |
| host_permissions (all sites) | Allow recording/replay on whichever marketplace or site you choose to use it on โ the extension does not act unless you start it. |
3 Where your data lives
Everything Rocket Listing captures โ recorded actions, element selectors, listing field values, and your
settings โ is written to your browser's local storage (IndexedDB and chrome.storage) on your own
device.
Uninstalling the extension, or clearing your browser's extension data, permanently deletes this locally stored information. We have no copy of it and cannot recover it for you.
4 Third-party requests
The extension loads a small number of static UI icons from a third-party CDN (icons8.com) for its popup interface. No personal data, page content, or recorded actions are sent as part of these requests โ only a standard image request occurs, subject to that provider's own handling of network requests (e.g. IP address in server logs), which is outside our control.
Rocket Listing does not call any AI/LLM API, analytics service, or advertising network, and does not embed any tracking pixels or third-party analytics SDKs.
5 What we do not do
- No account creation or login required
- No collection of personal information (name, email, payment details)
- No sale of user data to third parties
- No behavioral advertising or ad targeting
6 Your choices & control
You can review, export, or delete any recording from within the extension's side panel at any time. You
can revoke site access for specific domains or remove the extension entirely from
chrome://extensions, which removes all locally stored data associated with it.
7 Children's privacy
Rocket Listing is a productivity tool intended for business sellers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
8 Changes to this policy
If this policy changes โ for example if a future version introduces optional cloud sync โ we will update the "Last updated" date above and describe the change here before it takes effect.

1 Acceptance of terms
By installing or using the Rocket Listing Chrome extension ("the Extension", "we", "our"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Extension and discontinue use.
2 What the Extension does
Rocket Listing records DOM-based user actions on a website you choose, and replays that recorded workflow later to help fill forms and complete repetitive seller tasks โ for example, product uploads on marketplaces like Meesho, Flipkart, and Amazon. It only records or acts when you explicitly start it.
3 Your responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any product data, listings, or form submissions made using the Extension.
- You must comply with the terms of service, seller policies, and applicable rules of any marketplace or website you use the Extension on.
- You must have the right to access and act on any account or site you use the Extension with.
- You are responsible for reviewing replayed actions before relying on them, especially on live/production listings.
4 Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Extension to:
- Violate any marketplace's terms of service or attempt to circumvent their anti-automation protections in a way that causes harm to that platform or other sellers.
- Submit fraudulent, misleading, or illegal listings or content.
- Reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the Extension outside of the official Chrome Web Store listing, except as permitted by its open-source license (if applicable).
5 No warranty
The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. DOM-based automation can break if a target website changes its layout โ we do not guarantee that recordings will always replay successfully, and you should verify results before relying on them for business-critical tasks.
6 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Extension, including but not limited to lost listings, marketplace account actions taken against you, or lost business, arising from use or inability to use the Extension.
7 Third-party marketplaces
Rocket Listing is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meesho, Flipkart, Amazon, or any other marketplace referenced. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
8 Changes to the Extension or these terms
We may update the Extension's features or these Terms at any time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
9 Termination
You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue or modify the Extension at our discretion.
